Running an IRC server can, at times, be an easy task. And at other times, it isn’t.

This can be easily seen when I’m compiling the IRCd, the server that hosts every person on IRC. Or attempting to rewrite Kaiya, to varying degrees of success. Occasionally, during upgrade times, I will freak out, because I’ve screwed up something, or did something to break the compilation.

Usually, after the issues are fixed, the ST-IRC Administration will laugh at me and tell me to quit breaking stuff.

I do enjoy running ST-IRC, though at times I feel as if something is missing. I don’t know exactly, what. But I do know that at the very least, ShatteredTears has established its identity of being an organization that helps its users. This, I think, is pretty much undisputed.

Right now though, there’s the risk that I turn the organization in the wrong direction, so at the moment, I’m considering exactly what else, is needed.

If you’ve any ideas, suggestions or thoughts, I’d appreciate hearing them.
